Description

The barn at Walnut Tree Cottage is a structure from the late 17th century, which was encased in brick during the late 18th century. It features red brick with some blue brick and retains remnants of a timber frame. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there is a large double plank door. The left gable shows some blue brick diapering, and there is evidence of a wall plate on the front facing the road. An outbuilding is attached to the left of the barn and is listed as a separate item.
