Description
Bridge House is a house from the mid-18th century, with an extension added in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a slate roof with stone-coped tumbled gables and two gable brick stacks. The building has a two-storey, five-bay front with a dentillated wooden eaves cornice. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a fanlight, set within a plain pilastered pedimented doorcase, and is flanked by pairs of glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are five similar windows. All windows are topped with splayed rubbed brick arches and painted keystones. To the left, there is a lower two-storey single-bay service range, and to the right, there is a mid-19th-century two-bay single-storey range featuring a dogtoothed parapet and two three-light 20th-century casements.
