Description
Bank House is a house dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring tuck pointing, and has a slate roof with stone coped gables and two gable stacks. The building is two storeys high with a three-bay front and a first-floor sill band. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a traceried fanlight, set within a wooden fluted and pedimented surround, and is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there is a central two-light window, also flanked by single glazing bar sashes. All the windows are topped with serpentine lintels that have fluted keyblocks. Inside, the property features fluted plaster cornices.
