Description
Westholme House is a house built around 1880. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with wooden bracketed overhanging eaves. The building has two gable stacks with dentillated tops. It is two storeys high with a three-bay front and includes a cellar, a plinth, and a brick dentillated band along with an ashlar cill band at the first floor. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door with a plain fanlight, flanked by pairs of tall round-headed plain sash windows that have stepped ashlar imposts and key blocks. On the first floor, there is a central window similar to those below, also with a key block, flanked by pairs of plain sash windows. All window and door openings feature round brick arched heads with zigzag moulding. This building is included for its group value only.
