Description
Springwood Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 16th century to the 17th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and stands at one and a half storeys tall, comprising three wide bays. There is a later brick addition to the south. The cottage is topped with a thatched roof and displays square panelling that is three panels high, with some arch-bracing. A door is located at the north end of the range, with a dormer window above it. To the right of the doorway, there is a space without timbering, which includes a small fire-window and the stack. Additionally, there is another door at the south end of the original unit.
