Description

The Old School House is an early 19th-century house located in Calke Village. It is constructed of red brick, with the eastern side rendered. The building features a plain tile roof and brick gable stacks. It is two storeys high and has a double fronted east elevation. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century glazed door with a rectangular overlight that has diagonal glazing bars. There is a latticework timber porch, and the door is flanked by glazing bar sash windows in moulded wooden frames. Above, there are two smaller windows that are similar in style.
