Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early and late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features plain tile roofs, with stone coped gables and plain kneelers. The building has two brick gable stacks, a ridge stack, and a lateral stack. It is two storeys high and has a T-shaped plan with a long rear range. The head of the T is likely from the early 18th century and includes a plain first floor band.
The south elevation has two bays and features two segment-headed 2-light casements, with the right-hand one located in a former doorway. There is a similar blocked window to the right, and above, there is one 2-light casement with a flat arch. The west elevation consists of four broad bays, with a projecting entrance bay that has a panelled door. The rest of the elevation is designed as two double-fronted ranges, each with a central segment-headed doorway and a panelled door, flanked by 3-light segment-headed casements. Above these, there are four 3-light casements under flat arches. The east elevation has segment-headed windows on the ground floor and flat-arched windows above.
