Description

This is a late 18th-century cottage located 125 metres southwest of Hillcrest Farmhouse, on School Hill in Sproxton. Originally listed under a different address, it was formerly associated with Midway and Ryla. The cottage is constructed of whitewashed ironstone with a pantiled roof. It is a single-story building with an attic. The north side has two 2-light casement windows, which have been replaced. A door is situated on the right-hand side, sheltered by a gabled timber hood. The roof is gabled, with a central brick ridge stack.
