Description

Bank Farmhouse, dated 1810, is a former farmhouse now without associated farm buildings. It is constructed of coursed ironstone with a roof of graded Swithland slate to the front and Welsh slate to the rear. The farmhouse is two storeys high and arranged in three bays. The central entrance has a panelled door with an overlight. To either side of the entrance are single three-light cross casement windows, each set within a segmental arch. The first floor has two- and three-light casement windows with straight heads. A hipped roof is topped with two symmetrically placed ridge stacks. The rear elevation is similar in design. The interior is plain and includes bridging beams with run-out stops and a King post roof.
