Description

Nook Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of ironstone with some brick. It features a late lobby entrance plan and has a roof made of corrugated tiles. The building stands two storeys high and is divided into three wide window bays. Each floor has three mid-19th century sash windows with glazing bars, all positioned beneath timber lintels. On the ground floor, there is a door located between the right-hand windows, which is sheltered by a 20th-century glazed porch. The cottage has a dentil eaves cornice under a gabled roof, with a brick internal gable-end stack to the north and a ridge stack over the door. The interiors are plain.
