Description

The Old Vicarage is a former vicarage dating to 1734, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish garden wall bond, has a plain-tile roof, and features brick ridge and end stacks. The building follows a three-unit plan and presents a two-storey, four-window facade. A six-panel, partly-glazed door is located to the right of the centre, set within a moulded wood surround and topped with a segmental-arched head. The ground floor windows consist of a three-light casement to the right, a three-light casement to the centre, and a twelve-pane sash window to the left, all with segmental-arched heads. First-floor windows are predominantly three-light casements, with a two-light casement to the right of the centre, all under wooden lintels. A brick and coursed squared ironstone plinth is present, along with a heart-shaped limestone datestone to the first floor centre, positioned below the eaves. The interior was not inspected.
