Description

This is a house, likely a former farmhouse, probably dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a slate roof and brick end stacks. The house follows a central staircase plan and is three stories high, originally featuring a three-window front. The central entrance has a six-panel door set within a pilastered wooden surround, topped with an entablature, roundels to the frieze and an open pediment. Windows have been replaced: the ground and first floors have flat-arched heads with six-pane sashes, while the second floor windows have six-pane sashes with concrete lintels. A one- and two-storey wing extends to the right, with a lean-to roof over a single-storey front projection attached to the gable end of the two-storey section. The interior has not been inspected.
