6, Church Terrace

No. 6 Church Terrace is an early 19th-century building with a red brick facade and a slate roof featuring end chimneys. It stands two storeys tall and has two unbarred sash windows with boxed frames. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door, with the top two panels now glazed, and is topped by a solid rectangular fanlight and a bracketed hood. The door is framed by a moulded architrave and pilasters.

This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 7 Church Terrace, a small building in the north-west angle, the Gregory and Hughs Tomb, lamps in the churchyard, a building to the east of No. 13 Church Street, No. 18 Church Street, the western workshop and garden wall at No. 18, and the Parish Church. The small building in the north-west angle, No. 2, and the western workshop and garden wall at No. 18 are noted as items of local interest.
