Description
No. 5 Church Terrace is a late 18th century to early 19th century building constructed of red brick with a slate roof that is carried low at the rear and features a central chimney. Originally built as a pair of cottages, it is a two-storey structure with two windows that have sliding sashes and cambered head linings. There are doors on each side, with the southern door featuring Gothic arched panels. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 7 Church Terrace, a small building in the north-west angle, the Gregory and Hughs Tomb, lamps in the churchyard, a building to the east of No. 13 Church Street, No. 18 Church Street, the western workshop and garden wall at No. 18, and the Parish Church, with several items of local interest noted.
