Description

1-3 Leicester Yard is an early 19th-century terrace of red brick cottages. The building has a slate roof and stands two storeys tall. Each cottage features two sash windows with glazing bars, moulded frames, and cambered head linings. The central doors also have cambered head linings.

This group of cottages, along with Nos 1 to 21 (odd), Nos 25 and 27, the entrance gates and bandstand in New Park, The Golden Fleece Public House, and Nos 36A and 38 opposite, forms a significant architectural group. Nos 21, 25, The Golden Fleece Public House, and Nos 36A and 38 are recognized as buildings of local interest.
