Description

Ashby House Farmhouse is an 18th-century house, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, with areas of buff brick in a chequered pattern, and some rubble stone. The house has a brick plinth and a Welsh slate roof with two brick ridge stacks. The front facade features two storeys with four horizontal sliding sash windows on each floor. The windows are of 2-light, 3-light, and 3-light design. On the ground floor, from the left side, there is a 2-light casement window, a plank front door, and two 3-light horizontal sliding sash windows, the latter with cambered lintels.
