Garden walls, summer house, gate piers, gates and steps. C18 and C19. Red brick, coursed rubble stone, dressed stone, wrought iron and wood. C18 red brick walls with coursed rubble stone plinth surround the gardens. Tile coped in part. At intervals there are openwork stone crestings over gateways with stone arches. Walls are c3m high. On an axis from the Dining Room of School a gateway with brick piers and stone urns on top. Fine wrought iron gate with side panels. Bordering Paddock Lane there is a raised walk with central flight of stone steps. Pedestals and urns at the sides. At the top a pedestal sundial. Facing Paddock Lane a coursed rubble stone retaining wall with stone coping and buttresses. Wall by top of avenue terminates in rusticated stone pier with ball on top. Close to this a stone gateway in wall. A few further openings around perimeter. Within the small walled garden, projecting from the wall, a painted wooden open summer house with a fluted column at the front corners and pediment over.
