Description

The balustrade bordering the forecourt at Nevill Holt Hall Preparatory School is a stone structure from the late 19th century. It consists of two sections, each featuring four runs of moulded balusters. The balustrade is supported by a stone plinth and topped with coping. At the ends and between the runs, there are pedestals with open vases, which have gadrooned sides. At the fourth end, closest to the entrance gates, there is a pedestal topped with an Adam style urn. This balustrade is included for its group value.
