Description

The well head at Manor Farm, dating from around 1700, is located approximately 250 meters northeast of the Church of St. Andrew in Great Easton. It is constructed from coursed squared stone and features a plinth and a conical stone roof. This small, round tower-like structure is built over a filled-in well or spring and has a small open doorway. The roof is topped with a square pedestal and a shaft that is chamfered to an octagon shape, which may have once supported a cross.
