Description

No 1 High Street is an 18th-century corner building constructed of red brick. It features bands between the floors, with the bands on the High Street facade being stuccoed. The building has a moulded modillion eaves cornice and a double span slate roof with end chimneys. It stands three storeys tall and has four windows, which are sashes with boxed frames and glazing bars. The lower surface of the windows has flat red brick gauged arches that are cut to segment. There is a modern shop front at the ground level.
