Description

The Talbot Public House is an 18th-century building with a possible earlier core. The front is rendered with a moulded plinth, and rusticated quoins mark the first floor. A cove cornice was added in the 20th century when the building was reduced from three to two storeys. The roof is covered with modern slate. A moulded string course sits above the ground floor. The upper windows are 18th-century sash windows with glazing bars; the ground floor windows are sash windows with late 19th-century glazing. A round-headed coach arch is located under the south end of the building.
