Description
West End Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the north side of The Green in Bitteswell. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick platband above the ground floor. The building has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a slate roof, which includes end stacks and a ridge stack on the left side. The farmhouse is two and a half storeys tall and has a three-window front, with the bays positioned closer together on the left than on the right. All the windows are set under segmental arches, with 3-light casements on the ground and first floors that include transoms, and Yorkshire sashes in the upper half storey. To the right of the centre, there is a panelled door framed by a moulded surround, topped with a pediment supported by console brackets.
