Description

This building is a barn and stable located 30 yards southwest of Gilmorton Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features slate roofs. The barn has a central set of full-height double doors on the east side, with a small door to the left and diamond pattern breathers to the right. There is a lower wing that projects to the left, which has a door at the front. Further to the left, there is an even lower wing that extends out with six stable openings, each with rubbed-brick arches and stable doors. This structure is included for its group value.
