Description

This is a 17th-century house, restored in the late 20th century. It is timber-framed with exposed timber and plaster infilling. The roof is covered in Welsh slate, and there is a brick chimney stack on the front slope in the centre. Originally designed with a three-unit plan, the right-hand portion was replaced in the 19th century, serving as a service area. The house has two storeys and a two-window front, with more or less regular, 20th-century lead-latticed wooden casement windows. A half-glazed door is set within a moulded wooden surround and covered by a wooden hood in a taller, single-bay extension to the right. There are single, wide, segment-headed windows with lead-latticed casements on both floors. The interior features ceiling beams, some early cupboards and doors, and a fireplace bressumer. A winder stair is located at the front of the house.
