Description
This mile post, located approximately 500 yards north of Kimcote Road, dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a rounded cap, featuring inscriptions on each side that indicate distances to Welford (3 miles) and Leicester (13 miles). The cap is adorned with a coat of arms.
