Description
This milepost, located approximately 500 yards north of Shearsby Road, dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. It features a triangular base that indicates the distances to Welford, which is 6 miles away, and Leicester, which is 10 miles away. The milepost is topped with a semi-circular cap that displays a coat of arms.
