Description

Woodbine Cottage is a house dated 1692, though it may be older. It features a timber frame with brick panel infill and a thatched roof. The construction is boxframe with three main bays, each divided by an intermediate vertical post, and has three panels high with no sill. There is some arch bracing present. The centrally placed doorway is flanked by a two-light casement window on each side, and there are three-light dormer windows above. The house has two axial stacks and brick gable coping. The date 1692 and the initials R.T. are inscribed on a rail.
