Description

Lime Tree Cottage is a brick cottage dating to 1774. It is two storeys high and originally had a three-unit plan, though one bay to the right of the doorway is now obscured by a more recent single-storeyed wing. To the left of the doorway is a window, and above it, two horizontally sliding sash windows. The windows have two lights and cambered brick heads. There is an axial stack. The eaves are dentilled. A gable wall facing the street has a single two-light casement window and the date 1774, along with the initials R.T., picked out in pale brick headers.
