Description
This is a milepost located approximately 500 yards north of the turning into Arnesby, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a triangular base that indicates distances to Leicester (9 miles) and Welford (7 miles). The milepost is topped with a round-headed cap that displays a coat of arms.
