Description

The Vicarage is a house dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, located on Dingley Road in Groat Bowden. It is built of roughcast over red brick, with a slate roof. The house is in two parts. The western part has three windows, with sash windows featuring vertical glazing bars and exposed frames. The ground floor has later 19th and early 20th century bay windows. The central entrance has a rectangular fanlight, a hood on brackets, pilasters, and a six-panelled door. The eastern part of the house is two stories high and has two windows, with late 18th or early 19th century style casements with cambered head linings; the ground floor window on the western side has been blocked.
