Description

Holme House is a house dating to the late 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of brick, rendered, with a hipped slate roof and a gabled pantile roof to a single rear gable. The house has a tarred brick plinth, a rendered first-floor sill band, and is arranged over two storeys with five windows. The overall plan is L-shaped. The central doorcase is reeded, with a frieze and paterae, and contains a six-panelled door with a plain overlight. Flanking the door are two glazing bar sashes on the ground floor, with five further glazing bar sashes above. A two-storey rear wing to the left has a single glazing bar sash. To the right, the wing features two Yorkshire sashes, one with a segmental head, and a half-glazed door.
