Description
White Cottage is a cottage, likely dating to the early 19th century, although it incorporates a core from the 16th century. The exterior is painted brick with a Welsh slate roof. It has a two-story, two-unit plan. A central door is topped by a flat canopy supported by curved consoles. To either side of the door are three-light casement windows with cambered brick heads. Two upper three-light casement windows are positioned to flank a central blind window space. A single stack is located on the left-hand gable. Inside the gable wall is a cruck truss of substantial timbering, including one entire blade and part of its paired blade.
