Description
Beresford House is a house from the early 19th century located on Main Street in Bruntingthorpe. It is built of brick and features a low pitched Welsh slate roof. The building has three storeys and is arranged in three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door set within an open pediment, which is adorned with beading and pilasters that have raised panels and medallions in the architrave. Above the door is a radial fanlight. The ground floor has six-light sash windows with cambered treads, while the upper floors feature three-light casement windows with transoms and lower central opening lights. The central window on the upper floors is a leaded two-light casement. The attic storey also has casement windows. The house is finished with a dentilled eaves cornice and has gable end stacks.
