Description

The barn at Whitehouse Farmhouse, likely built in the early 17th century, features a timber frame with brick panel infill and a Welsh slate roof. It is a long structure consisting of six principal bays, each subdivided, supported by a sill beam on a rubble plinth and two rails. The barn includes some arch bracing and has a king post roof with angle struts. A brick panel in the gable is dated 1716.
