Description

Halstead Grange is a house dated 1844, located in Tilton on the Hill. It is constructed of well-coursed ironstone rubble and features white ashlar angle quoins. The roof is made of Welsh slate. The building has a two-storey, symmetrical facade with three bays, a central doorway that includes an overlight, and wide 16-light sash windows, all adorned with voussoirs. There are gable end stacks with brick diagonally set flues. The gable wall is dated and displays the initials M over G.S.
