Description
This is a barn and an attached range located approximately 20 meters west of Home Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The structure is built of brick, featuring stone coped gables and kneelers, along with a brick plinth. It has a corrugated iron roof with thatch underneath. The east side has a doorway with double lower doors, while the west doorway is blocked. There are ventilator openings in the south gable. Inside, the roof is supported by two large trusses with queen struts, a ridge piece, and two side purlins on each side. Attached to the left is an ancillary range that includes a smaller 18th-century brick barn, also with a corrugated iron roof and coped gables. There is a lower range of later date attached to the south and northeast.
