Description

Pegasus Cottage is an early 17th-century cottage located on Peveril Road. It is timber framed and features a thatched roof. The building is one and a half storeys high and consists of two bays constructed using post and truss methods, with six panels and three panels high. There is arch bracing to the principal posts. The windows have been replaced with three-light casements, likely in their original positions, as the rail above them is higher than in the adjacent panels. The cottage also has two eyebrow dormers above. Access is through a later outshut at the rear, and the gable end stacks have been rebuilt.
