Description

The Well is a wall protecting a well, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of granite and slate rubble stone, with part of the structure featuring a brick coping. The wall has a horseshoe shape and stands approximately 2 meters high, with the jambs of a former gate at either end. Inside, there is a concreted floor. The Well has group value with Nos. 2, 4, and 20 The Green and holds local significance.
