Description

No. 72 on Bradgate Road is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick and features a Swithland slate roof with a ridge stack positioned at the center left. The building has two storeys and includes three windows on the front. On the ground floor, there are paired 8/8 sash windows or a combination of a sash and a fixed light, all set beneath cambered lintels. The upper floor has either two or three-light casements or horizontal sliding sashes. There is a door located to the left, and another door at the right end with a 20th-century two-light casement window above it. The cottage has group value with No. 1 Groby Road, which is adjacent.
