Description
Rushall Field Farmhouse is an 18th-century and early 19th-century house located on the south side of Rushley Lane. The house is constructed of red brick with a rubble stone plinth, and has a Swithland slate roof with a central ridge and end stacks. The front of the house faces a garden. The left-hand side of the ground floor dates to the 18th century, while the remainder of the house was built in the early 19th century. The façade has two storeys and four windows, each with cambered lintels. The windows consist of a three-light casement with a matching three-light horizontal sliding sash window above it; a second three-light casement with a three-light sliding sash window above; a two-storey projection containing a partially glazed door, a stone hood mould, and a three-light sash window above the door; and finally a 12/12 sash window on both floors. A gable facing the road includes a door and casement windows.
