Description
No. 8 The Drive is a house that was originally one of the cottage homes built by the Leicester Poor Law Union in 1884. The architect was I. Baradale. The building is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof. It has a cruciform plan with four irregular bays and is two storeys high. The design and details are similar to those of No. 3 The Drive, but the axis of this dwelling is turned through 90 degrees.
