Description

No. 5 The Drive is a house that was originally one of the cottage homes built by the Leicester Poor Law Union in 1884, designed by architect I. Baradale. The building is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof, with a cruciform plan and four irregular bays. It shares the same plan and orientation as No. 3, but the right-hand gable facing the drive lacks the recessed windows. Two casements on the house have gauged brick heads with voussoirs.
