Description

No 1 Church Street is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and brick gable stacks. It stands two storeys tall and features a symmetrical three-bay north elevation. The central doorway has a steep segmental arch and contains a plank door set within a recessed surround, topped by a tympanum featuring a pair of shallow gothic arches. On either side of the doorway are 3-light casement windows, each with a similar tympanum arrangement under segmental arches. The first floor has three 2-light casement windows with pointed lights, also positioned under segmental arches.
