Description

The Polygonal Animal Shelter is a mid-19th century structure located in Calke Park. It is built of rubble limestone and tooled sandstone, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The shelter has a polygonal shape with twelve sides, which are divided by circular engaged columns. There is one bay on the west side and three square window openings. This building is listed for its group value only.
