Description
Pictshill House is a mid-19th century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The main block on the western side features three window bays and has a hipped roof with an eaves cornice. There is a gabled wing at the eastern end of the building. The house is two storeys tall. On the south elevation, the first floor has three sash windows with glazing bars; the outer windows have three lights, while the right-hand window has a lower cill level. The ground floor includes two sash windows with glazing bars that flank double doors featuring arched glazing and lozenge-patterned cast iron side lights, topped with an arched head. Above the doorway, there is an arched canopy supported by wrought iron columns.
