Description
The Lodge to Pictshill House is a mid-19th century small neo-classical building located on the north side of Turvey Bedford Road. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. The lodge is a single storey structure. The west gable end has a projecting stone porch that includes a cornice, a pediment, and cusped bargeboards at the gable. The south elevation facing the road has an ashlar parapet with a cornice and a slightly lower stone band, which are all connected by a stone console bracket at the left end. There is a central casement window beneath the cornice supported by consoles. The plain north elevation has a single casement window with pointed arched glazing bars.
