Description

Walnut Tree House is an 18th-century cottage that was partly heightened in the 19th century and extended in the 20th century. The original cottage is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, topped with an old clay tile roof. It has one storey and attics, with a one-storey rear wing, which was heightened to two storeys in the 19th century and finished with colourwashed brick. The windows are now modern casements set under timber lintels. A hipped attic dormer is visible on the east elevation. A ground floor extension in stone with a flat roof has been added.
