Description
Muse Lane Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of red brick with stone dressings. It features a plain tile roof with stone-coped gables and both plain and moulded kneelers, along with brick gable end stacks. The building is two storeys high, plus garrets, and has a west elevation that consists of three symmetrical bays. The central doorway has a cambered gauged brick head with a keystone and features a panelled door with a glazed overlight. On either side of the doorway are 3-light wooden casement windows, each with nine panes and a two-pane opening casement, all topped with gauged brick cambered heads and keystones. Above, there are three similar windows, with the central window being narrower. The roof has three dormers, each with 2-light windows and hipped roofs. To the right, there is a lower two-storey bay. An attached brick wall with rounded stone copings encloses the front garden.
