Description
Nos 47-51 on High Street are three cottages built in the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick with plain tile roofs and brick gable stacks. No 47 features a coped gable with plain kneelers and is two storeys high. In contrast, Nos 49 and 51 are three storeys tall and have a sawtooth eaves cornice. The west elevation consists of three bays. No 47 has a segment-headed doorway on the right with a 20th-century glazed door, and to the left, there is a segment-headed three-light casement. Above this, there is a three-light flat-arched casement. Nos 49 and 51 have paired segment-headed doorways in the centre, also with 20th-century glazed doors, flanked by three-light segment-headed casements. Above these doorways, there are two three-light segment-headed casements and two three-light casements under flat arches above again.
