Description

Hillside Farmhouse is an early 18th and early 19th century farmhouse. It is constructed of rendered brick with a plain tile roof and brick gable stacks. A chamfered plinth and plain first-floor band are visible externally. The south elevation has five symmetrical bays, with four steps leading to a central doorway, which has a plain stone surround. The door is panelled and has a rectangular overlight with glazing bars. It is flanked on each side by two glazing bar sashes beneath stone lintels. Five similar windows are located on the first floor. Inside, the open string stick baluster staircase has carved tread ends.
